About the Anchient mediterranean territories

2020.09.20 13:01 Urb4setick3t About the Anchient mediterranean territories

So recently I've found myself watching documentaries on Anchient Rome and one thing leading to another i edned up in Greece, Egypt, Persia, whatnot.
though i think I'm starting to get a grasp, I'd like to udnerstand better how all those big name civilizations were tied together, especially with look to early European history. the dates are not that important to me, Just the rough timeframe suffices.
Below, I'll try to super basically outline what I've gathered, so one gets an idea of what I already think to know. I also don't want to reach too far back so I'll just start where I think it starts coming together;
I'll also write it simply, so I don't have to worry about eloquency, pardon in advance:
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________Egypt ist super old, always been old, you've got Pyramids, Pharao. That goes on for a while.
Sometime later in Europe Greece emerges with its city states. timeline isn't clear however the Greek do their thing and fight Persians around 500 bc.
They sort of win that conflict, proceed to do their thing.
Some years later rome is founded, they do the republic thing, which goes on for a while until in +150bc the romans fight the greek to the east, defeat them mostly bringing northern greece (?) under their controll. (somewhere in tehre greece allies with carthage too?~ 200 BC?)
during caesars civil war, I remember pompei fleeing to greece so i assume most of anchient greek territory is, by that point, Roman soil.
sometime 100 AD the romans completely conquer greece (?).
then, when constantine becomes emperor he splits the empire, making it the byzantine emppire, effectively. the europeans, namely the franks or later french, grab a hold of the west, the churches of rome and constantinople clash, rome emerges the victor.
Later (?) the persians (werent they defeated?) fight the romans on the eastern front of greece (??)
somehow constantinople falls, marking the end of the roman empire to the east (or was that the mongols?)
egypts role isnt quite clear, etiher. you've got the old old egyptians, the greek line of cleopatra and the romans defeating them, incorporating them with defeat of marc anthony..?
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________
I feel I got the very general gist but there's some large gaps I'd like to fill. Sadly history books and online resources mostly focus on one part and never the overarching picture!
If someone could (ELI5 please, I'm not that knowledgable) fill my story in and correct my (many) mistakes, I'd be super grateful!
Many thanks, all the best!

2020.09.18 12:03 V-UK-86M 33 [M4F] [Anywhere in the UK - preferably Lancaster, Manchester or London] Six foot, decent looking, looking to spend 1 or 2 nights in a hotel with a fellow, special Virgin someone.

Yes, with lasagna and Netflix to fill in the gaps (chocolate cake is a given!)
A bit about me: I have a familiar story a lot of other virgins have - in that I have lived for many years (most of my adult years) in a conservative country (born and schooled partly in the UK, though). I guess I could have gotten into a relationship along the way if I really wanted to and was more hip in the socializing department, but I, at least in a small way, probably felt I had to conduct myself in a certain manner. I can explain how things ended up like this further in private, but the reasons are pretty understandable.
The situation: A few weeks from now, I'll probably have the option of going to some clubs or bars in the UK (if they're open) or using a dating/hookup app, but I'd like to explore the possibility that this moment in my life could be a bit more memorable, a bit more special. I'm looking for a fellow virgin who shares a similar view.
My proposal as it were is to get to know each other a bit online and eventually book a hotel for one or two nights of fun (and awkwardness) if we vibe well enough. While we're there we could watch netflix and enjoy all the amenities while we "recuperate". (Of course, I'm open to suggestions! A boat on the River Thames you say?)
My appearance: 6 foot, 230ish pounds. I have Punjabi (Probably better to google) ancestry but I'm told there's also some Turkish/Persian/Kurdish/Greek on my mother's side. I've got a fairly decent face, kind of have the Jason Statham look going on upstairs. Sigh, you can be the judge, but I have been complimented a few times on my looks over the years. A bit cringe to write that myself though.
Please note that even if this post becomes old (even a few weeks old) do feel free to PM/DM me. After all, things do fall out. Decisions can change. Red flags may later emerge. Hotels may not have lasagna.
If you are at a loss with what to write initially, it would be nice to hear a bit about how you've remained a virgin and what your appearance is like (similar to what I've written). This post may have come out a bit too formal haha. I'm into TV series (interested in watching Raised by Wolves - should we binge it at the hotel?), anime (I've seen a lot, so it really needs to be good to grab my interest now), and a bit of gaming still.

Wildcats Recruitment:
Thank you for your interest in The Wildcats!
Wildcats have been an active group within the DCS community for years. We strive for Military Realism in both our training and our missions, all while keeping a casual atmosphere. We support all major DCS high fidelity modules along with FC3 aircraft and Choppers. However, while we support these modules, we run a squadron format.
Individual modules such as the 18, the 16, etc are assigned to various squadrons under the leadership of capable, veteran DCS pilots. Currently we only support the 16, 18 and the A-10C (Along with the soon to arrive A-10C V2) in this way but are looking to open that up and expand. Right now we run the current Open Beta version of the sim.
The core of Wildcats remains our philosophy of inclusion. Our trainings and missions try to integrate all of the airframes we support within the same mission objectives according with the role they are designed to play.
We all have Real Lives. We get that! Real life always comes first within Wildcats. With that said, the European community is underserved in the DCS world. That is where we come in. We are a European GMT based DCS World group. However, we have pilots from all over the world with us. Our flight times are generally 1900/1930 GMT.
For those interested in a Mil-Sim environment with casual elements, look no further. We offer you the following:
- GMT Based flight times
- Multiple Servers
- Training on any given module we currently support from Zero to Mission Ready- Discord
- A full featured website (WIP)
- A Calendar System for training and mission planning (WIP)
- A Facebook group
- Wildcat themed aircraft skins
- Multiple mission designs to keep things fresh
- A Military Simulation minded group who likes to keep the fun in our hobby
What are we looking for? We are looking for the following, dedicated individuals to join us and help make the DCS community overall even better:
- Mission Makers familiar with all forms of scripting within DCS (Moose, etc)
- Experienced and well qualified pilots to interview for CO and XO positions withinSquadrons for various air frames.
- Inexperienced pilots looking for a place to call home, who will be dedicated not only tolearning, expanding and become an asset to the community overall, but who will alsoremain dedicated to the group
- Individuals familiar with the DCS aircraft skinning process
- Individuals familiar with creating DCS themed videos
- Individuals who are familiar with ATC/AWACS/LSO etc to fill the roles of Controllers/LSOfor various mission using LOTAC and in game elements.
What can you expect from the Wildcats? You can expect dedication to you as a pilot and member of Wildcats. You can expect to be taught your module of choice inside and out to help you become one of the best pilots in a given plane within the community. You will be taught the correct, military minded way of flying with all proper procedures, communications and systems in a casual, mil-sim minded environment. You can expect to be treated fairly, impartially and with respect at all times, regardless of your race, gender, orientation, religion ect.
What do we expect in return? Dedication. Not only to yourself and the learning of your given module, but to the group as a whole. It takes a lot of time for people to make missions, schedule training, missions, etc.
We expect you to return the favor and be ‘’present’’. As stated above we understand people have real lives and that this is just a hobby. Our philosophy has always been real life comes first. But we do have a 3 strike rule. Stay in contact with us and keep us up to date on what is happening with you. Failure to do so after 3 consecutive missed sessions will result in your removal from the group. Its simple, just communicate!
We also require you own the following maps:
- Persian Gulf Map
- Nevada Map
- Normandy Map
- The Channels Map
- The Syria Map
- Any other maps released in the future
With that said, there must be some form of dedication on your part as a member of the group. You WILL be expected to not only be present for training and/or missions at least twice a month – if you have something come up, just let us know! No one wants to waste time on folks who cannot take the time to return the favor.
You will also be expected to show improvement. This means you will have to take the time to learn things in single player and not only when flying online with the group. Things like Refueling take a lot of practice and cannot be mastered a few hours online a month alone. You will need to practice outside of the group on your own time to get better.
If this is something you are interested in, please, come join us and let’s have a chat!

We look forward to meeting you!

2020.09.11 10:46 RebornInLife Prophecies of Edgar Cayce

Prophecies of Edgar Cayce
Edgar Cayce (/ˈkeɪsiː/; March 18, 1877 – January 3, 1945) was an American clairvoyant who claimed to channel a "Source" to answer questions on subjects as varied as healing, reincarnation, dreams, the afterlife, past-life, nutrition, Atlantis, and future events while in a self-induced sleep state. Cayce proposed that his subconscious mind would explore the dream realm where all subconscious minds are timelessly connected. Cayce founded a nonprofit organization, the Association for Research and Enlightenment, to store and facilitate the study of the Cayce material. A biographer gave him the nickname The Sleeping Prophet.
Until September 1923, his readings were not systematically recorded or preserved. However, an article published in the Birmingham Post-Herald on October 10, 1922, quotes Cayce as saying that he had given 8,056 readings as of that date and it is known that he gave approximately 13,000–14,000 readings after that date. A total of 14,306 are available at the A.R.E. Cayce headquarters in Virginia Beach and on an online, member-only section along with background information, correspondence, and follow-up documentation.
Other abilities that have been attributed to Cayce include astral projection, prophesying, mediumship, viewing the Akashic records or "Book of Life", and seeing auras. Cayce said he became interested in learning more about these subjects after he was informed about the content of his readings, which he reported that he never actually heard himself.

Supporters
Cayce's clients included a number of famous people such as Woodrow Wilson, Thomas Edison, Irving Berlin, and George Gershwin.
Gina Cerminara published books such as Many Mansions and The World Within. Brian Weiss published a bestseller regarding clinical recollection of past lives, Many Lives, Many Masters. These books provide broad support for spiritualism and reincarnation. Many Mansions elaborates on Cayce's work and supports his stated abilities with real life examples.
In 1971 Edgar Cayce's sons Edgar Evans Cayce and Hugh Lynn Cayce published a book titled The Outer Limits of Edgar Cayce's Power,[70] claiming Cayce's readings had an approximate 85% success rate. The majority of the book investigated cases where Cayce's readings were demonstrably incorrect.

Will our lifespan, as human beings, be extended?
We know that humans are now living longer than at the time of Edgar Cayce, but his readings seem to indicate that a healthy human lifespan would extend years beyond that which we are currently living.
“Now, we find there are many changes in the body since we have had this – many for good. Many of the organs and the conditions show the changes as come about by the natural, or so called natural conditions in changes as the body succumbs to the effects of age or usage in the system. Much of this may be overcome. (Man should live much longer than has been ordinarily given – and will!)” -- Edgar Cayce reading 244-2
Will we discover the design for a self-fueling perpetual-motion machine?
Perhaps with the current focus on renewable resources and energy conservation, we will see this next prophecy come to pass in our lifetimes.
“You will have before you the gasless motor invented by [4666]. “Edgar Cayce: Yes, we have the body and enquiring mind of [4666], also the associations and those conditions surrounding the perfection of motor which will develop power in its own action. As has been given, the idea and the plans as have been worked out in part along those lines that pull more of the power as produced in compression in drum, with the leads made in these forms that gather vibrations from the air as is forced through drum, are, as we find, the better application of the created energy. In the cams [as] have been used too much slack or play is allowed in their rotation. This is in the drum’s head action that these must be shortened in play. “The connection of [195] and [900] with same – best that these have [4666]’s operations closer under their observations when the completed product is near attained. “(Q) How may we bring him under our observation? (A) Bring him to … Ohio or N.Y. “(Q) Is this machine the same as brought to Washington now by Lindbergh? [Charles A. Lindbergh] (A) No. As is here, the [4666] machine would operate on stationary conditions impelling forces; even for now that in gas motors – for, as tested by others, has more to do with that thrown in air and gaining its impelling force from that source. (Q) Would it operate perpetually if perfected? (A) Not perpetually, but once started could be kept in motion by created energy of its own source. Other has to have some source of impellation.” -- Edgar Cayce reading 4665-1
Conflict in the Persian Gulf
“…As is understood by many, in the earth manifestation and the cycle of time much repeats itself … There are still influences indicated in the lives of groups banded as nations, banded as peoples, still influenced by those happenings. What then, ye ask, is the influence that makes for this great change that may be expected? The powers of light and darkness, as then, as sixteen hundred (1600) years before. As in those periods, so today – we find nation against nation; the powers of death, destruction, the wrecking of that which has been and is held near and dear to the hearts of those who have through one form or another set ideals. These are not to be questioned, in that as may be a helpful force; but what is coming to pass? And how may ye as individuals help? … Strifes will arise through the period. Watch for them near Davis Strait in the attempts there for the keeping of the life line to a land open. Watch for them in Libya and in Egypt, in Ankara and in Syria, through the straits about those areas above Australia, in the Indian Ocean and the Persian Gulf.” -- Edgar Cayce reading 3976-26
Is a New “Root Race” Evolving?
The Edgar Cayce information suggests that humanity’s consciousness has evolved and expanded over time. Cayce stated that this expansion of consciousness could be viewed throughout the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation. From the readings perspective the next great evolution would be tied to the development of what Cayce termed “the fifth root race.” An evolutionary occurrence that would mark a New Age and a new understanding of humanity’s relationship to God:
When a 52-year-old construction engineer asked about this expanding consciousness in 1942, Cayce commented that each individual had to essentially work with personal soul development in order to resonate to that new consciousness: “You expect a new root race. What are you doing to prepare for it? You must prepare food for their bodies as well as their minds and their spiritual development!” -- Edgar Cayce reading 470-35 Ten years earlier, during a reading on the Great Pyramid in Egypt, Cayce suggested that an ancient “Hall of Records” would be discovered at a time signifying the manifestation of this new level of consciousness. -- Edgar Cayce reading 5748-6
Will the Three Halls of Records Be Discovered?
According to the readings, the people of Atlantis became aware of the fact that their civilization was about to be destroyed. As a result, they hid identical records of the Atlantean civilization in Bimini, in Egypt and in the Yucatan. Numerous readings contend that this Hall of Records will be discovered, including:
(Q) Give in detail what the sealed room contains (A) A record of Atlantis from the beginnings of those periods when the Spirit took form or began the encasements in that land, and the developments of the peoples throughout their sojourn, with the record of the first destruction and the changes that took place in the land... This in position lies, as the sun rises from the waters, the line of the shadow (or light) falls between the paws of the Sphinx, that was later set as the sentinel or guard, and which may not be entered from the connecting chambers from the Sphinx's paw (right paw) until the TIME has been fulfilled when the changes must be active in this sphere of man's experience. Between, then, the Sphinx and the river.” -- Edgar Cayce reading 378-16 (Q) In which pyramid or temple are the records mentioned in the readings given through this channel on Atlantis, in April, 1932? (A) As given, that temple was destroyed at the time there was the last destruction in Atlantis. Yet, as time draws nigh when changes are to come about, there may be the opening of those three places where the records are one, to those that are the initiates in the knowledge of the One God: The temple by Iltar will then rise again. Also there will be the opening of the temple or hall of records in Egypt, and those records that were put into the heart of the Atlantean land may also be found there - that have been kept, for those that are of that group. The RECORDS are ONE. -- Edgar Cayce reading 5750-1
What is the shape of the world to come?
Decades before the rest of the world was thinking about the enormous impact that China would have upon the global stage, Edgar Cayce predicted great things for China and its people. On one occasion, Cayce told a group of people that eventually China would become “the cradle of Christianity, as applied in the lives of men.” -- Edgar Cayce reading 3976-29
This suggests the personal application of spiritual principles would become paramount to the Chinese people. Cayce then went on to caution that it would take a long time to manifest but that it was the country’s destiny: “Yea, it is far off as man counts time, but only a day in the heart of God – for tomorrow China will awake.”
On another occasion, when a thirty-six-year-old book publisher asked about the destiny of China in 1943, just prior to his own trip to the country to serve in the capacity of a missionary, Cayce promised amazing changes in the country that would lead to more democracy and greater religious freedom. He also suggested that eventually the height of civilization would move from the West to the Chinese people: “And these will progress. For, civilization moves west.” -- Edgar Cayce reading 2834-3
Will There Be a Second Coming?
The Cayce readings had much to say about the life of Jesus—covering the “lost” years that were never addressed in the Bible. But Cayce also spoke of Jesus’ return and here is an excerpt on that subject:
“What is meant by “the day of the Lord is near at hand”? (A) That as has been promised through the prophets and the sages of old, the time – and half time – has been and is being fulfilled in this day and generation, and that soon there will again appear in the earth that one through whom many will be called to meet those that are preparing the way for His day in the earth. The Lord, then, will come, ‘even as ye have seen him go.’” -- Edgar Cayce reading 262-49

Prophecies and predictions of Edgar Cayce. Cayce foresaw world events that can only be described as apocalyptic, a period of purification involving natural disasters that will dramatically alter the surface of the Earth, wars, economic collapse, and socio-political unrest. Cayce said that these future events could be averted if humanity changed its behavior. Cayce would repeatedly say that even the Lord of Lords could not accurately predict future events because human free will can alter and change the future. Cayce is referring to the Biblical account when Jesus is asked when he would return. His reply was: “No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father”. (Matt. 24:36)

THE YEAR THE BATTLE OF ARMAGEDDON WILL OCCUR IN THE SPIRIT REALM
Cayce predicted that the so-called “Battle of Armageddon” described symbolically in the Bible would begin in 1999. Cayce foresaw that this “battle” will not be a war fought on Earth. Rather, it will be a spiritual struggle between the “higher forces of light” and “lower forces of darkness” for 1000 years of Earth time. The reason for this struggle is to prevent souls from lower afterlife realms from reincarnating to Earth. By preventing souls from the lower afterlife realms from reincarnating to Earth, only enlightened souls will be permitted to reincarnate. The result will be 1000 years of building a world of peace and enlightenment. After 1000 years, souls from lower afterlife realms will be permitted once again to reincarnate to Earth. By this time, the so-called “kingdom of heaven” will have been established on Earth.

THERE IS A POSSIBILITY OF A WORLD WAR III
Cayce foresaw the possibility of a third world war. He spoke of strife arising near the Davis Straits, and in Libya, and in Egypt, in Ankara, and in Syria; through the straits around those areas above Australia, in the Indian Ocean and the Persian Gulf. Given the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq and the tensions in Iran, Turkey/Syria and the Middle East right now, such a war could certainly be a possibility. Since the Middle East unrest and the war against Libya this prophecy stands in the picture, this is the proof that Edgar Cayce really had a vision about this third world war, but it can still be stopped ! Like all prophets say : The future can always be changed by humanity, God gave them a free will !!!

THE YEAR OF THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST
Edgar Cayce often maintained that humanity would soon experience a “day of reckoning.” He predicted the year of the second coming of Jesus to be 1998. Critics who are not very familiar with the Cayce material have pointed out that 1998 has come and gone and the second coming has not occurred. Such critics wrongly expect the second coming to happen when Jesus appears in the sky with a chorus of angels while Gabriel blows a horn and dead bodies crawl out of their graves.

This idea of the resurrection was the result of a misunderstanding of the concept of reincarnation – the ancient concept of birth and rebirth. A new field of science will be developed based on a psychic/spiritual phenomenon Cayce predicted in September, 1939, that when there is the same interest or study given to things or phases of mental and spiritual phenomena as has been and is given to the materialized or material phenomena, then it will become just as practical, as measurable, as meter-able, as any other phase of human experience. Cayce did not specify a time frame, he specified a condition, placing as much research emphasis on the spiritual/occult phenomena as material causation. It would be nice to think that Cayce was referring to near-death research which would fit the description of the science he is referring to. Until we know more in the future, we will have to assume that this prediction is still pending.

A NEW DISCOVERY IN ASTRONOMY WILL OCCUR
Cayce provided a major clue that astronomers have not yet taken up: the discovery of the revolution of the solar system around a star system composed of Arcturus and the Pleiades. Major archeological discoveries concerning human origins will be found. Cayce predicted that there will be three profound archeological discoveries of a very ancient and important nature that will revolutionalize the way we understand human origins, cosmology and religion. Cayce stated that this will occur when humanity reaches a higher level of spirituality. The three repositories mentioned are in Egypt (near the Great Pyramid), the Bimini area (where the possible portion of Atlantis has already been discovered), and the Yucatan (the location where the asteroid that killed off the dinosaurs).

VOLCANIC ACTIVITY WILL PROCEED MAJOR EARTHQUAKES
If there are greater activities in [the volcanoes] Vesuvius or Pelee, then the southern coast of California and the areas between Salt Lake and the southern portions of Nevada, we may expect, within the three months following same, inundation by the earthquakes. But these are to be more in the Southern than the Northern Hemisphere.

AMERICA’S WEST COAST WILL BE DESTROYED
The widespread destruction in Los Angeles and San Francisco as well as in many portions of the west coast will occur. Earth changes will occur in the central portion of the United States as well. NDE researcher Dr. Ken Ring discovered that many near-death accounts he was studying foretell future Earth changes such as earthquakes, volcanoes, a pole shift, strange weather patterns, droughts, pandemics, famines, tidal waves and a new social order followed by a golden age. These NDE visions of the future agree completely with the Cayce predictions described below.

THE OCEAN LEVEL WILL RISE SIGNIFICANTLY
With the shifting of the Earth’s magnetic poles that began in 1998 will come a gradual melting of the polar ice caps and eventually cause inundations of many coastal regions resulting in a drop in the landmass of about 30 feet. In 1941, Cayce elaborated on this effect: “As to conditions in the geography of the world, of the country — changes here are gradually coming about … For, many portions of the east coast will be disturbed, as well as many portions of the west coast, as well as the central portion of the U.S. In the next few years land will appear in the Atlantic as well as in the Pacific. And what is the coast line now of many a land will be the bed of the ocean. Even many battle fields of the present will be ocean, will be the seas, the bays, the lands over which The New World Order will carry on their trade as one with another.

Don't be put off by the year they were published as I found they still have majority of the definitions you may be looking for:
I will also update this list if I find any new dictionaries especially for other languages (not just Urdu-Hindi-English).

Meanings in Urdu

(ie. the definitions are in Urdu, search in Urdu)

2020.08.30 08:41 Subutai_wrecks_you How I slowly became the change I wanted to see in this world. (Not for the faint of heart)

A very wise man from the Subcontinent said that you should be the change you want to see in this world, that man was Gandhi. Like many of you on this sub, I have an issue and a problem. I had an issue and a problem that plagued me for years. I was irritated, annoyed, and frustrated at how in the western world; Asian men are not seen in a sexual way and how a lower quality white guy can get a beautiful woman of different races while an Asian man (in my case South Asian) has a tougher time largely due to the social biases, prejudice, and social perceptions. We are all "weird", "small", and not to be seen in a sexual way.
All the while society comes to the rescue for white men and portrays them in such a princely manner. So I decided at some point, I am exhausted, I could no longer do it. No matter how much people of color fight for equality, we are now fighting yet another war for men of color to be seen as equals on a social scale.
So what did I do to become the change I wanted to see in this world and declare war on what is wrong?
Boycotted Hollywood and most other media outlets that lower our status.
It's been over 2 years since I saw a Hollywood movie, I do not intend on changing that except for maybe an upcoming Marvel Film where a Pakistani guy will play the first ever brown superhero (same dude from The Big Sick). Even then, I have had it, it is going to be a push for me to see it. I have had it with the Hollywood Elite preaching moral self-righteousness and hating on the Alt-Right while they portray men of color as inferior beings, especially Asian men. To rub it in our faces, they regularly promote women of color (Asian and brown) to be sexual objects of play for the stereotypical Nazi ideal. I refused to see Fast and Furious and fall into Hollywood fads of celebrities because it is all white male worship anyways.
I've also quit most porn and really only watched porn which was solo or featured a man of a minority group. The porn industry is also another industry that has it out for men of our backgrounds, they won't get much of my viewership unless we start seeing some Indian dudes having fun with hot girls.
Netflix has been getting some viewership from me though because I feel like as a platform it is nicer to minorities.
Not supporting any cause unless it benefits me and men like me.
I get that BLM started due to police brutality but BLM and the Democrats don't really support men of my color. To some, they even use us as pawns. I see no point in supporting such causes if they are not going to advance men of our background and put us in a position to succeed. Hate to sound cold-hearted but it is what it is.
Disrespect was dealt with by ignoring, blocking, and ghosting people who did not take my warning.
In the professional space, I let people know they have disrespected me and called them out. Some of the guys became my friend afterwards and we are good with each other now. Some guys kept at it, as I rose through the ranks let's just say I have a long memory and they are on my shit list. Anyone who talked down to me and failed to give me a chance is blocked, even the people who stood idly by are. Unless you do something for me and a partnership proves to benefit me, go eat dirt. I have burned bridges but the relationships I have formed are that much more promising.
Cut out a lot of my friends who did not stand for my ideals, especially those I used to be close with.
I have had some cool white friends who were cool guys and even cool brown and Asian friends, I've cut out most of them. My white friends had their own agenda and it does not serve their self-interest to see a man of color get with beautiful women, I cut them out. My brown and Asian friends were pansies who settled for sellouts, Anna Lus, and didn't see the struggle at hand or failed to really do anything about it. Some talked a big game but when push came to shove, they were cucks (yeah I will use that term). Needless to say, I cut them out and significantly reduced contact.
Now, my friend group is very very small. I have a black friend who regularly fucks white and Asian women, even fucked an Asian girl who was engaged to a honky. Another friend of mines is a cool Latino guy who is engaged to this sexy Persian girl but before that, used to go to town on preppy white girls, Asian girls, and women of all races. I have a Pakistani friend from the UK who sees through this shit and does well with women of different races. Just like me, he is a brown guy with a thing for beautiful women who have dark hair and olive skin, went to Brazil and slept with quite a few.
Speaking of beautiful women and my game dreams, something that will undoubtedly get me opposition here, I silenced the noise and went all in. This includes removing anything that got in the way.
"Pussy is overrated bro"
"More to life than pussy bro"
"God damn everyone is obsessed with getting laid, get a real hobby like underwater basket weaving."
I cut it all out, not just friends but even the noise. I see the anti-sex and anti-game noise flood into this sub as well, pushing for LTRs and such but I ignore it. It took a bit for me to even post this thread but I thought someone could benefit from it. I want to be one of the very few Asian men who tasted and fucked pussy of different nationalities and races, no exceptions whatsoever. Anyone who was passive aggressively against it or tried to talk me out of it got blocked and ignored. Even online spaces that turned all self-righteous and against my goal of sleeping around I don't frequent. Who knows how long I am on this sub, maybe not long at all. I am not going to debate some self-righteous Chan about how good sex feels with lots of different women because he cannot get his dick wet so he gets all moral on folks.
And racism and prejudice is nowhere as strong as with young hot girls picking men they want to sleep with, women from certain cultures are more prejudiced than others, so now I make them prove themselves to me.
Yeah, racism and prejudice are quite strong in the dating and hookup space, women from some cultures are far more prejudiced than others. I never really faced it from white women that much, when I say white I mean white as fuckin snow. Unfortunately, I find that women who fit the look of being my "type" (black hair, olive skin, and good looks) tend to be very prejudiced and extremely pro-white. I used to chase these women a lot and get played by them, a lot. My worst experiences by far have been with Latinas who tend to be quite pro-white from what I have seen.
So, I shifted my mindset and approach, you prove yourself to me before I invest the effort in you. I started going after the women who were from demographics that have shown to be interested in me or treated me well (mainly white women and black women) while ignoring most other kinds of women. If you were outside of the demographics that have treated me well, prove yourself to me or else you are getting the cold shoulder from the get go. I will game your white friend hard in front of you Maria and ignore you the whole fucking time.
As radical as it sounded, I wrote about it because it worked.
A summer ago, I ended up pounding this hot Italian chick raw, met her at a rooftop in Manhattan and she was here for the summer from Italy. For those of you who do not know, Italians are some of the most racist people in the world, just live around some on the east coast and you will find out fast. I was initially cold to her and when she was rude to me, I stood my ground instead of being the old white knight me. A couple weeks later I was hitting it raw.
One Latina tried to stand me up, I was not having it. Told her welcome to the real world, we are not your parents. A month later, I was fucking her taller and hotter friend. The friend tried to lock me down but I turned her down, only to use her for sex. My thoughts are I had to show how alpha I was for her to fuck me while a white girl would not have had the same biases against my brownass, you're only good for sex chick.
If she comes from a culture where most women of her culture are white worshipers that treat men like us as second class citizen, she is going to have to work her ass off to prove herself to me first because I will be gaming her white friends. No worries though, I'll get my exotic fill through seeing escorts in the future and other avenues but she is not getting my best from her.
I've written a novel, maybe this needs a part 2, but for now this is enough.
Some of you will fucking hate this, some of you will like it, and one or two of you might have a changed life because of it. I no longer write to make fans, I write to get it out. I no longer write to agree, I write to just say it for what it is. This is something that had to be said because I am exhausted in an emotional and mental way, it has been too much for me in recent years.

2020.08.22 12:19 EnclavedMicrostate Tartaria: The Supposed Mega-Empire of Inner Eurasia

Introduction

For those not in the know, the Tartaria conspiracy theory is one of the most bizarre pieces of pseudo history out there. Its core notion is that the region known as ‘Tartaria’ or ‘Grand Tartary’ in Early Modern European maps was not simply a vague geographical designate, but in fact a vast, centralised empire. Said empire emerged… at some point, and it disappeared… at some point, but for… some reason, its existence has been covered up to suit… some narrative or another. As you can tell, there’s a lot of diverse ideas here, and the fact that there hasn’t been the equivalent of a Christological schism every time a controversial thread goes up is really quite impressive. While this post will primarily address one particular piece of writing that is at the core of Tartaria conspiracy theorising, I’ll include a few tidbits to show you just how much madness its adherents have come up with. But first, some background.

State of Play, and why I’m doing this

The Tartaria theory has a small but active following on subreddits such as Tartaria, tartarianarchitecture, and CulturalLayer, which as of writing have around 5,300, 2,400 and 23,000 subscribers, respectively, but it’s clear from the 8 questions on the topic asked at AskHistorians since January 2019 and this debunk request from June that it’s a theory that has somewhat broad appeal and can reach beyond its core niche. This is unsurprising given how little education most people in the West receive about basically anything east of Greece: simply put, the reality of Eurasian history is just not something most of us are taught. And if we don’t know the reality of Eurasian history to begin with, or if we do then it's all in bits and pieces where we might not even know a basic set of dates and names, then what seems to be a pretty developed narrative about a lost empire actually turns out rather plausible.
Unfortunately, many debunks of the Tartaria narrative come from people pushing competing conspiracy theories, like this guy claiming that there’s a global Jewish Phoenecian conspiracy and that Tartaria is simply rehashing the notion that Khazars were Jews in order to distract from the real Phoenecian threat at the heart of global society or some nonsense like that. (I don’t really care, I died of laughter after page 3.) Now, there are those coming from serious perspectives, but they focus largely on the problems with Tartaria as a concept rather than addressing the more specific claims being made. This is of course valuable in its own right (shoutout to Kochevnik81 for their responses to the AskHistorians threads), but we can go deeper by really striking at the roots of this ‘theory’ – what is the ‘evidence’ they’re presenting? But to do that, we need to find out what the origins of the ‘theory' are, and thus what its linchpins are. Incidentally, it is because of some recent events regarding those origins that I’ve been finally prompted to write this post.

Where does it come from?

My attempts to find the exact origins of the Tartaria conspiracy have been not entirely fruitful, as the connections I’ve found have been relatively circumstantial at best. But as far as I can tell, it at least partially originates with that Russian pseudohistorian we all know and love, Anatoly Fomenko. Fomenko is perhaps best known in the English-speaking world for his 7-volume ‘epic’ from 2002, History: Fiction or Science?, but in fact he’s been pushing a complete ‘New Chronology’ since the publication of Novaia khronologia in Russian in 1995. While the New Chronology is best known for its attempt to explain away most of the Middle Ages as a hoax created by the Papacy on the basis of bad astronomy, it also asserts a number of things about Russian history from the Kievan Rus’ to the Romanovs. Key to the Tartaria theory is its claim that there was a vast Slavo-Turkic ‘Russian Horde’ based out of ‘Tartaria’ which dominated Eurasia until the last ‘Horde’ ruler, Boris Godunov, was overthrown by the European Mikhail Romanov. This, of course, is a clear attempt at countering the notion of a ‘Tatar Yoke’ over Russia, as you can’t have a ‘Tatar Yoke’ if the Tatars were Russians all along. Much as I’d like to explain that in more detail here, I don’t have to: in 2004, Konstantin Sheiko at the University of Wollongong wrote an entire PhD thesis looking at the claims of Fomenko’s New Chronology and contextualising them within currents of Russian nationalism, which can be accessed online.
But I personally suspect that if there are Fomenko connections as far as Tartaria specifically is concerned, they are limited. For one, at one stage users on the Tartaria subreddit seemed unfamiliar with Fomenko, and there are those arguing that Fomenko had ‘rewritten’ Tartarian history to be pro-Russian. This is why I said that the evidence was circumstantial. The only other link to Fomenko is indirect: the CulturalLayer sidebar lists the ‘New Chronology Resource Collection’ and the audiobook of History: Fiction or Science? under ‘Essential Resources’, and Tartaria in its ‘Related Subs’.
As far as I can tell, the ultimate origin of its developed form on the Anglophone web traces back to this post on the StolenHistory forums, posted on 17 April 2018. This makes some chronological sense: only one post on CulturalLayer that mentions Tartaria predates this. Moreover, KorbenDallas, the OP of the thread, was also the forum’s chief admin, and given that StolenHistory is still (as of writing) the top resource on CulturalLayer’s sidebar, that suggests significant influence. However, using the search function on camas.reddit.io, it was mentioned at least 9 times before then, with the first mention, on 10 January 2018, mentioning that the ‘theory’ had been doing the rounds on the Russian web for at least 5 years. Nevertheless, as the detail in these early comments is sparse and generally refers only to speculation about maps, it is probably fair to say that the first in-depth English-language formulation of the Tartaria ‘theory’ was thus the April 2018 forum post. Funnily enough, it is not cited often on Tartaria, but that subreddit was created on 27 December, long after discussion had been taking place on places like CulturalLayer, and combined with the ‘mudflood’ ‘theory’ and the notion of giant humans, which are not significant features of the StolenHistory thread. This more convoluted and multifaceted version of the Tartaria theory doesn’t really have a single-document articulation, hence me not covering it here.
It is this StolenHistory thread which I will be looking at here today. Not just because it seems to be at the heart of it all, but also because it got shut down around 36 hours ago as of writing this post, based on the timestamps of panicked ‘what happened to StolenHistory’ posts on CulturalLayer and Tartaria. So what better occasion to go back to the Wayback Machine’s version, seeing as it’s now quite literally impossible to brigade the source? Now as I’ve said, this is not the most batshit insane it gets for the Tartaria crowd, in fact it’s incredibly tame. But by the end of it, I bet you’ll be thinking ‘if this is mild, how much more worse is the modern stuff!?’ And the best part is, I can debunk most of it without recourse to any other sources at all, because so much of it involves them posting sources out of context or expecting them to be read tendentiously.
But that’s enough background. Let us begin.

Part 1: The Existence

Exhibit 1: The Encylcopædia Britannica, 1771

”Tartary, a vast country in the northern parts of Asia, bounded by Siberia on the north and west: this is called Great Tartary. The Tartars who lie south of Muscovy and Siberia, are those of Astracan, Circassia, and Dagistan, situated north-west of the Caspian-sea; the Calmuc Tartars, who lie between Siberia and the Caspian-sea; the Usbec Tartars and Moguls, who lie north of Persia and India; and lastly, those of Tibet, who lie north-west of China.” - Encyclopædia Britannica, Vol. III, Edinburgh, 1771, p. 887.
Starting a post about the ‘hidden’ history of Central Asia with an encyclopædia entry from Scotland is really getting off to a good start, isn’t it? Anyone with a sense of basic geography can tell you that Tibet lies due west of China, not northwest. But more importantly, this shows you how single-minded the Tartaria advocates are and how tendentiously they read things. ‘Country’ need not actually refer to a state entity, it can just be a geographical space, especially in more archaic contexts such as this. Moreover, the ethnographic division of the ‘Tartars’ into Astrakhanis, Circassians, Dagestanis, Kalmuks, Uzbeks, and, for whatever reason, Tibetans, pretty clearly goes against the notion of a unified Tartary.
Now compare to the description given by Wikipedia, ”Tartary (Latin: Tartaria) or Great Tartary (Latin: Tartaria Magna) was a name used from the Middle Ages until the twentieth century to designate the great tract of northern and central Asia stretching from the Caspian Sea and the Ural Mountains to the Pacific Ocean, settled mostly by Turko-Mongol peoples after the Mongol invasion and the subsequent Turkic migrations.”
Obviously, Wikipedia is not a good source for… anything, really, but the fact that they’re giving a 349-year-old encyclopaedia primacy over the summary sentence of a wiki article is demonstrative of how much dishonesty is behind this. And it only gets worse from here.

Exhibit 2: Hermann Moll’s A System of Geography, 1701

THE Country of Tartary, call'd Great Tartary, to distinguish it from the Lesser, in Europe, has for its Boundaries, on the West, the Caspian Sea, and Moscovitick Tartary; on the North, the Scythian, or Tartarian Sea; on the East, the Sea of the Kalmachites, and the Straight of Jesso; and on the South, China, India, or the Dominions of the great Mogul and Persia : So that it is apparently the largest Region of the whole Continent of Asia, extending it self [sic] farthest, both towards the North and East: In the modern Maps, it is plac'd within the 70th and 170th Degree of Longitude, excluding Muscovitick Tartary; as also between the 40 and 72 Degree of Northern Latitude.
Immediately underneath the scan of this text is the statement, clearly highlighted, that
Tartary was not a tract. It was a country.
Hmm, very emphatic there. Except wait no, the same semantic problem recurs. ‘Country’ need not mean ‘state’. Moreover, in the very same paragraph, Moll (or rather his translator) refers to Tartary as a ‘Region’, which very much disambiguates the idea. Aside from that, it is telling that Moll refers to three distinct ‘Tartaries’: ’Great Tartary’ in Asia, ‘Lesser Tartary’ in Europe, and ‘Muscovite Tartary’ – that is, the eastern territories of the Russian Tsardom. If, as they are saying, ‘Great Tartary’ was a coherent entity, whatever happened to ‘Lesser Tartary’?

Exhibit 3: A 1957 report by the CIA on ‘National Cultural Development Under Communism’

Is a conspiracy theorist… actually believing a CIA document? Yep. I’ll add some context later that further complicates the issue.
Or let us take the matter of history, which, along with religion, language and literature, constitute the core of a people’s cultural heritage. Here again the Communists have interfered in a shameless manner. For example, on 9 August 1944, the Central Committee of the Communist Party, sitting in Moscow, issued a directive ordering the party’s Tartar Provincial Committee “to proceed to a scientific revolution of the history of Tartaria, to liquidate serious shortcomings and mistakes of a nationalistic character committed by individual writers and historians in dealing with Tartar history.” In other words, Tartar history was to be rewritten—let its be frank, was to be falsified—in order to eliminate references to Great Russian aggressions and to hide the facts of the real course of Tartar-Russian relations.
[similar judgement on Soviet rewriting of histories of Muslim areas to suit a pro-Russian agenda]
What’s fascinating about the inclusion of this document is that it is apparently often invoked as a piece of anti-Fomenko evidence, by tying New Chronology in with older Russian-nationalist Soviet revisionism. So not only is it ironic that they’re citing a CIA document, of all things, but a CIA document often used to undermine the spiritual founder of the whole Tartaria ‘theory’ in the first place! But to return to the point, the fundamental issue is that it’s tendentious. This document from 1957 obviously is not going to be that informed on the dynamics of Central Asian ethnicity and history in the way that a modern scholar would be.
In a broader sense, what this document is supposed to prove is that Soviet coverups are why we don’t know about Tartaria. But if most of the evidence came from Western Europe to begin with, why would a Soviet coverup matter? Why wasn’t Tartarian history deployed as a counter-narrative during the Cold War?

Exhibit 4: ‘An 1855 Source’

This is from a footnote in Sir George Cornwalle Lewis’ An Inquiry into the Credibility of the Early Roman History, citing a travelogue by Evariste Huc that had been published in French in 1850 and was soon translated into English. From the digitised version of of Huc’s book on Project Gutenberg (emphasis copied over from the thread):
Such remains of ancient cities are of no unfrequent occurrence in the deserts of Mongolia; but everything connected with their origin and history is buried in darkness. Oh, with what sadness does such a spectacle fill the soul! The ruins of Greece, the superb remains of Egypt,—all these, it is true, tell of death; all belong to the past; yet when you gaze upon them, you know what they are; you can retrace, in memory, the revolutions which have occasioned the ruins and the decay of the country around them. Descend into the tomb, wherein was buried alive the city of Herculaneum,—you find there, it is true, a gigantic skeleton, but you have within you historical associations wherewith to galvanize it. But of these old abandoned cities of Tartary, not a tradition remains; they are tombs without an epitaph, amid solitude and silence, uninterrupted except when the wandering Tartars halt, for a while, within the ruined enclosures, because there the pastures are richer and more abundant.
There’s a paraphrase from Lewis as well, but you can just read it on the thread. The key thing here is that yes, there were abandoned settlements in the steppe. Why must this be indicative of a lost sedentary civilisation, and not instead the remnants of political capitals of steppe federations which were abandoned following those federations’ collapse? Places like Karakorum, Kubak Zar, Almaliq and Sarai were principally built around political functions, being centres for concentration of religious and ritual authority (especially monasteries) and stores of non-movable (or difficult to move) wealth. But individual examples of abandoned settlements are not evidence of broad patterns of settlement that came to be abandoned en masse. Indeed, the very fact that the cited shepherd calls the abandoned location ‘The Old Town’ in the singular implies just how uncommon such sites were – for any given region, there might really only be one of note.

Exhibit 5: Ethnic characteristics in artistic depictions of Chinggis and Timur

I… don’t quite know what to make of these.
Today, we have certain appearance related stereotypes. I think we are very much off there. It looks like Tartary was multi-religious, and multi-cultural. One of the reasons I think so is the tremendous disparity between what leaders like Genghis Khan, Batu Khan, Timur aka Tamerlane looked like to the contemporary artists vs. the appearance attributed to them today.
Ummm, what?
These are apparently what they look like today. These are ‘contemporary’ depictions of Chinggis:
Except, as the guy posting the thread says, these are 15th-18th century depictions… so NOT CONTEMPORARY.
As for Timur, we have:
In what bizzaro world are these contemporary?
We’ll get to Batur Khan in a moment because that’s its own kettle of worms. But can this user not recognise that artists tend to depict things in ways that are familiar? Of course white European depictions of Chinggis and Timur will tend to make them look like white Europeans, while East Asian depictions of Chinggis will tend to make him look Asian, and Middle Eastern depictions of Chinggis and Timur will make them look Middle Eastern. This doesn’t prove that ‘Tartaria’ was multicultural, in fact it you’d have an easier time using this ‘evidence’ to argue that Chinggis and Timur were shapeshifters who could change ethnicities at will!

Exhibit 6: Turkish sculptures

Why this person thinks modern Turkish sculptures are of any use to anyone baffles me. The seven sculptures shown are of Batu Khan (founder of the ‘Golden Horde’/Jochid khanates), Timur, Bumin (founder of the First Turkic Khaganate), Ertugrul (father of Osman, the founder of the Ottoman empire), Babur (founder of the Mughal Empire), Attila the Hun, and Kutlug Bilge Khagan (founder of the Uyghur Khaganate). They are accompanied (except in the case of Ertugrul) by the dates of the empires/confederations that they founded – hence, for instance, Babur’s dates being 1526 to 1858, the lifespan of the Mughal Empire, or Timur’s being 1368 (which seems arbitrary) to 1507 (the fall of Herat to the Shaybanids). To quote the thread:
A few of them I do not know, but the ones I do look nothing like what I was taught at school. Also dates are super bizarre on those plaques.
Again, Turkish sculptors make Turkic people look like Turks. Big surprise. And the dates are comprehensible if you just take a moment to think.
Do Turks know something we don't?
Turkish, evidently.

Exhibit 7: A map from 1652 that the user can’t even read

The other reason why I think Tartary had to be multi-religious, and multi-cultural is its vastness during various moments in time. For example in 1652 Tartary appears to have control over the North America.
https://web.archive.org/web/20200701065421im_/https://www.stolenhistory.org/attachments/1652-nova-totius-terrarum-orbis-geographica-ac-hydrographica-tabula_1-1-jpg.37277/
This speaks for itself.
The thread was later edited to include a link to a post on ‘Tartarians’ in North America made on 7 August 2018, but that’s beside the point here, read at your own leisure (if you can call it ‘leisure’). Except for the part where at one point he admits he can’t read Latin, and so his entire theory in that post is based on the appearance of the word ‘Tartarorum’ in an unspecified context on a map of North America.

Part 2: The Coverup

The official history is hiding a major world power which existed as late as the 19th century. Tartary was a country with its own flag, its own government and its own place on the map. Its territory was huge, but somehow quietly incorporated into Russia, and some other countries. This country you can find on the maps predating the second half of the 19th century.
…Okay then.

Exhibit 8: Google Ngrams

https://web.archive.org/web/20200701065421im_/https://www.stolenhistory.org/attachments/tartary_ngram-jpg.37276/
This screenshot shows that the use of ‘Tartary’ and ‘Tartaria’ declined significantly over time. This is apparently supposed to surprise us. Or maybe it shows that we actually understand the region better…

Part 1a: Back to the existence

You know, a common theme with historical conspiracy theories is how badly they’re laid out, in the literal sense of the layout of their documents and video content. Don’t make a header called ‘The Coverup’ and then only have one thing before jumping back to the evidence for the existence again.

Exhibit 9: A Table

Yet, some time in the 18th century Tartary Muskovite was the biggest country in the world: 3,050,000 square miles.
https://web.archive.org/web/20200701065421im_/https://www.stolenhistory.org/attachments/tartary_huge-13-jpg.37329/
I do not have enough palms to slap into my face. Do they not understand that this is saying how much of Tartary was owned… by foreign powers?

Exhibit 10: Book covers

You can look at the images on the thread itself but here’s a few highlights:
Histories of the Qing conquest of China, because as far as Europeans were concerned the Manchus were Tartars. Proof of Tartaria because…?
An ambassador who never set foot in ‘Tartary’ itself, cool cool, very good evidence there.
There’s also three screenshots from books that aren’t even specifically named, so impossible to follow up. Clearly this is all we need.

Exhibit 11: Maps

The maps are the key think the Tartaria pushers use. All these maps showing ‘Grand Tartary’ or ‘Tartaria’ or what have you. There’s 20 of these here and you can look for yourselves, but the key thing is: why do these people assume that this referred to a single state entity? Because any of these maps that include the world more generally will also present large parts of Africa in generic terms, irrespective of actual political organisation in these regions. And many of the later maps clearly show the tripartite division of the region into ‘Chinese Tartary’, ‘Russian Tartary’, and ‘Independent Tartary’, which you think would be clear evidence that most of this region was controlled by, well, the Chinese (really, the Manchus) and the Russians. And many of these maps aren’t even maps of political organisation, but geographical space. See how many lump all of mainland Southeast Asia into ‘India’. Moreover, the poor quality of the mapping should give things away. This one for instance is very clear on the Black Sea coast, but the Caspian is a blob, and moreover, a blob that’s elongated along the wrong axis! They’re using Western European maps as an indicator of Central Asian realities in the most inept way possible, and it would be sad if it weren’t so hilarious. The fact that the depictions of the size of Tartaria are incredibly inconsistent also seems not to matter.

Exhibit 12: The Tartarian Language

There’s an 1849 American newspaper article referring to the ‘Tartarian’ language, which is very useful thank you, and definitely not more reflective of American ignorance than actual linguistic reality.
The next one is more interesting, because it’s from a translation of some writing by a French Jesuit, referring to the writing of Manchu, and who asserted (with very little clear evidence) that it could be read in any direction. In April last year, Tartaria users [claimed to have stumbled on a dictionary of Tartarian and French](np.reddit.com/Tartaria/comments/bi3aph/tartarian_language_dictionary/) called the Dictionnaire Tartare-Mantchou-François. What they failed to realise is that the French generally called the Manchus ‘Tartare-Mantchou’, and this was in fact a Manchu-French dictionary. In other words, a [Tartare-Mantchou]-[François] dictionary, not a [Tartare]-[Mantchou]-[François] dictionary. It is quite plausible, in fact probable, that the ‘Tartarian’ referred to in the newspaper article was Manchu.

Exhibit 13: Genealogies of Tartarian Kings

Descended From Genghiscan
Reads the comment above this French chart. How the actual hell did OP not recognise that ‘Genghiscan’ is, erm, Genghis Khan? Is it that hard to understand that maybe, just maybe, ‘Tartars’ was what they called Mongols back in the day, and ‘Tartaria’ the Mongol empire and its remnants?

Exhibit 14: Ethnographic drawings

These prove that there were people called Tartars, not that there was a state of Tartaria. NEXT

Exhibit 15: Tartaria’s alleged flag

Images they provide include
https://web.archive.org/web/20200701065421im_/https://www.stolenhistory.org/attachments/tartary_flags-11-jpg.37367/
https://web.archive.org/web/20200701065421im_/https://www.stolenhistory.org/attachments/tartary_flag_6-jpg.37307/
Except there’s one problem. As any EU4 player will tell you, that’s the flag of the Khanate of Kazan. And while they can trot out a few 18th and 19th century charts showing the apparent existence of a Tartarian naval flag, the inconvenient fact that Tartaria would have been landlocked seems not to get in the way. To be sure, their consistent inclusion is odd, given the non-existence of Tartary as a country, and moreover its landlocked status. It seems plausible that the consistent similarity of the designs is just a result of constant copying and poor checking, but on its own it means relatively little.

Exhibit 16: 19th-century racism

https://web.archive.org/web/20200701065421im_/https://www.stolenhistory.org/attachments/flags_of_all_nations_1865-mongolian-1-jpg.37369/
That I think speaks for itself.

Exhibit 17: Flags of Moscow on one particular chart

It is also worth mentioning that in the British Flag Table of 1783, there are three different flags listed as a flag of the Tsar of Moscow. There is also an Imperial Flag of Russia as well as multiple naval flags. And all of them are proceeded by a flag of the Viceroy of Russia.
By that logic, the Royal Navy ran Britain because the Royal Navy ensigns precede the Union Jack. It’s simply a conscious decision to show the flags of individuals before the flags of states. The ‘Viceroy’ (unsure what the original Russian title would be) and ‘Czar’ of Muscovy would presumably be, well, the Emperor of Russia anyway, so as with the British section where the Royal Standard and the flags of naval officers came first, the same seems true of Russia. Also, as a side note, the placement of the USA at the end, after the Persians, the Mughals and ‘Tartarians’, is a fun touch.
Significance of the Viceroy is in the definition of the term. A viceroy is a regal official who runs a country, colony, city, province, or sub-national state, in the name of and as the representative of the monarch of the territory. Our official history will probably say that it was the Tsar of Russia who would appoint a viceroy of Moscow. I have reasons to doubt that.
Why is the flag of the Viceroy of Moscow positioned prior to any other Russian flag? Could it be that the Viceroy of Moscow was superior to its Czar, and was "supervising" how this Tartarian possession was being run?
No.

Part 3: 1812

This, this is where it gets really bonkers. A key part of this post is arguing that Napoleon’s invasion of Russia was a cover story for a joint invasion against Tartaria gone horrendously wrong. All the stops are being pulled out here.
There is a growing opinion in Russia that French invasion of Russia played out according to a different scenario. The one where Tsar Alexander I, and Napoleon were on the same side. Together they fought against Tartary. Essentially France and Saint Petersburg against Moscow (Tartary). And there is a strong circumstantial evidence to support such a theory.
Oh yes, we’re going there.
Questions to Answer:
1. Saint Petersburg was the capitol of Russia. Yet Napoleon chose to attack Moscow. Why?
He didn’t, he was trying to attack the Russian army. (credit to dandan_noodles).
2. It appears that in 1912 there was a totally different recollection of the events of 1812. How else could you explain commemorative 1912 medals honoring Napoleon?
Because it’s a bit of an in-your-face to Napoleon for losing so badly?
And specifically the one with Alexander I, and Napoleon on the same medal. The below medal says something similar to, "Strength is in the unity: will of God, firmness of royalty, love for homeland and people"
Yeah, it’s showing Alexander I beating Napoleon, and a triumphant double-headed Russian eagle above captured French standards. Also, notice how Alexander is in full regalia, while Napoleon’s is covered up by his greatcoat?
3. Similarity between Russian and French uniforms. There are more different uniforms involved, but the idea remains, they were ridiculously similar.
Ah yes, because fashions in different countries always develop separately, and never get influenced by each other.
How did they fight each other in the dark?
With difficulty, presumably.
Basically, he’s saying that this: https://web.archive.org/web/20200701065421im_/https://www.stolenhistory.org/attachments/1_rus-jpg.37322/
Is too similar to this: https://web.archive.org/web/20200701065421im_/https://www.stolenhistory.org/attachments/1_rus-jpg.37322/
To be coincidental.
OK, whatever. Here’s where it gets interesting:
There was one additional combat asset officially available to Russians in the war of 1812. And that was the Militia. It does appear that this so-called Militia, was in reality the army of Tartary fighting against Napoleon and Alexander I.
Russian VolunteeMilitia Units... Tartarians?
Clearly this man has never encountered the concept of a cossack, an opelchenie, or, erm, a GREATCOAT.
4. Russian nobility in Saint Petersburg spoke French well into the second half of the 19th century. The general explanation was, that it was the trend of time and fashion. Google contains multiple opinions on the matter. * Following the same logic, USA, Britain and Russia should've picked up German after the victory in WW2.
Clearly never heard of the term lingua franca then.
5. This one I just ran into: 19th-century fans were totally into a Napoleon/Alexander romance
https://web.archive.org/web/20200701065421im_/https://www.stolenhistory.org/attachments/treaties_of_tilsit_miniature_-france-_1810s-_side_a-jpg.37314/
https://web.archive.org/web/20200701065421im_/https://www.stolenhistory.org/attachments/napoleonxalexander2-jpg.37310/
https://web.archive.org/web/20200701065421im_/https://www.stolenhistory.org/attachments/napoleon-alexander-jpg.37312/
It is true that after the Treaty of Tilsit, Napoleon wrote to his wife, Josephine, that
I am pleased with [Emperor] Alexander; he ought to be with me. If he were a woman, I think I should make him my mistress.
But Napoleon’s ‘honeymoon period’ with Russia following the Treaty of Tilsit should not be seen as indicative of a permanent Napoleonic affection for Russia. Notably, Napoleon’s war with Russia didn’t just end in 1812. How are the Tartaria conspiracists going to explain the War of the Sixth Coalition, when Russian, Prussian and Austrian troops drove the French out of Germany? Did the bromance suddenly stop because of 1812? Or, is it more reasonable to see 1812 as the end result of the bromance falling apart?

Conclusions

So there you have it, Tartaria in all its glorious nonsensicalness. Words cannot capture how massively bonkers this entire thing is. And best of all, I hardly needed my own sources because so much of it is just a demonstration of terrible reading comprehension. Still, if you want to actually learn about some of the history of Inner Eurasia, see below:

2020.08.10 06:09 SnooTigers7158 First time cat owner looking for advice.

I have a 6 month old half persian and she has some serious behaviour issues and I am kind of lost. I suffer from depression and PTSD, when I'm home alone all because my husband is at work, it can get bad. Since I also suffer from a chronic illness I felt a dog would have been too much for me to handle, so we got our cat instead. It was love at first sight. We got everything for her. Then Corona happened and my husband is home all day. Here's the thing, he said that cat was really badly behaved around him, but around me, she's calm and cuddly and I can get her to stop certain behaviours. Then last weekend we went camping and left her with a friend and she was a terror. My friend has raised tons of cats and told me that she couldn't take care of her because it was that bad. So now I'm confused.
I forgot to mention, we got her at 10 weeks and not the recommendation 12 weeks because the owner of her mom was bit desperate to sell the kittens. We wanted her to stay with her mom longer, but it was out of our control. Not sure if it helps.
Here are some of the things I know I need to change and some of the things I'm still confused about.
1) Feeding her on a schedule. I read online that it was ok to free feed when they were kittens, but now I am regretting that choose. For now on I'm giving her breakfast, lunch and dinner time.
2) Not encouraging her enough when she uses the right scratching post. When she uses the couch for example, I'll clap my hands and say "stop". She listens. She'll stop. The problem is she doesn't listen when other people tell her.
3) Going on surfaces she's not allowed on. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. I do tried clapping thing, we take her off the counters, I've tried hissing at her, even tried that stupid water bottle thing which is no use because she actually likes playing with water. She just keeps going on the kitchen counters and tables. She has places that are "her" space, but she doesn't seem to respect ours. I thought it was only a matter of time, like if I kept taking her down enough times she'd learn, but it hasn't worked.
4) Food stealing. She won't take my food, but she seems to try to take everyone else's food. Not sure how to fix that.
5) Playing or chewing on things she should not play with. She does try to play with clothes, wires and other things. I keep taking them away from her, but she can be very persistent at times. On the most part, she will give up at some point with me, but not anyone else it seems.
6) The biggest issue is that she can't get along with other cats. I keep thinking we should try the slow approach with feeding at the same time with a door I between them, but with Corona, it's been hard to schedule play dates with other cats and dogs. I wanted to expose her as young as possible, but this virus has really thrown a wrench in all my plans. She just hisses at other cats, even fully grown ones. She seems really scared. Not sure how to soothe or calm her so she could give other cats a chance.
7) Not going outside. The original plan was to move to a bigger place with some outdoor space this year, but once again Corona has made that impossible because I'm not getting paid anymore. We live on a third floor apartment on a busy road. I don't feel safe letting her out. Not sure how to fix it.
This post is much longer than I thought it would be, but any advice would be much appreciated.
Edit: added information.

2020.07.04 19:03 bahador9 Mediterranean Cruise (2018)

Mediterranean Cruise (2018)
Here is how to make the most of a one-week Mediterranean cruise and see as much of Europe that one can possibly manage in one week. I planned our cruise to minimize any unpleasant surprises and yet leave room to be spontaneous and adventurous.
This article is not about cruise ships and you do not have to be a fan of cruises as my trip was mostly on land other than the overnight cruising. I felt that at the age of 57, I had delayed Europe long enough and with my busy business schedule, the cruise was the only way to get a snapshot of three countries and six cities in 10 days total, plus two days for flying from and to Canada. My wife does not like cruises, and I was left to travel with Lucas, our seventeen-year-old!
In August 2018, Lucas and I flew to Barcelona, Spain, the embarking port for the Norwegian, Epic cruise ship. It was our very first time on a cruise and our very first time to Europe except for England. I do not recommend August or July for this trip as it is high season for local tourism, and it is too hot to walk the cities (well too hot for me). However, if you have kids in school, then you understand that it must be summer, unless you choose to go without them.
Our ship would mostly cruise at nighttime giving us a full day from 7 am to 6 pm in most cities. That was perfect for me because there is only so much staring at water I can enjoy, and spending time in a tiny casino or eating non-stop are not my kind of pastime. If you are a cruise fan, then Norwegian Epic is great. They have about 10 wonderful restaurants, a superbly well-organized huge buffet with great selection of international food, a nice water park on the upper deck, and even a youth club with games, music, and dance to keep your teens entertained.
Every evening after our long city walk, Lucas and I enjoyed a nice meal after our shower and then watched a show or a musical performance before we hit the sack in our comfortable balcony room. I do not like closed spaces and a balcony room was well worth the small difference in price, even though we did not have much time to be on the balcony. Epic was also completely renovated in 2015, which meant it was clean and up to date on amenities. Always check the year the ship was build or was renovated before committing to a cruise.
Our cruise had stops in these cities:
1- Barcelona, Spain - embarking
a. visit Gothic centre, La Rambla, La Sagrada Familia church, Park Güell,
2- Naples, Italy
a. Rented a car and drove to Sorrento (an hour drive)
3- Rome, Italy
a. Took the train to the city centre and then the city tour-bus to Vatican City, San Angelo Castle, Piazza di Spagna – drove past Colosseum
4- Florence and Pisa tower, Italy – walking tour, site seeing
5- Cannes and Nice, France – walking tour, site seeing
6- Mallorca (Majorca), Spain - took a taxi to Palma Nova beach, swam and chilled
What to pack? We traveled very light with one carryon and a backpack. The backpack was for our extra stuff and NOT for touring the city. I do not recommend walking with a backpack, even less in the summer. Other than the usual travel items, here are some essentials I had to buy.
1- Light and cool walking shoes that were comfortable for walking and cool for summer. I bought a pair of nice leather sandals with good support and solid straps for walking. Also packed a pair of dress shoes for evening dinner on the ship and exercise shoes that I never used!
2- Summer shirts. I ordered some European collared Linen shirts. They look nice, are cool, and comfortable. www.bensherman.com has a good selection of those if you live in Canada or USA. Pack lots of tees for less formal places.
3- A couple of dress pants (linen and or khaki) for the evening restaurant and shows and dress shorts for long walks.
4- Beach sandal and swimming trunk for the Beach in Mallorca which I ended up buying in Cannes
5- Your credit card, Euro currency, and travel documents of course. Leave them in the safety box in your room and only take what you need for the day.
Barcelona, Spain: We arrived Barcelona three days ahead of schedule to experience one city for more than just a day. We stayed at the Boutique Hotel Violeta (http://violetaboutique.com/home/) in the centre of the city and only three blocks from the Plaza Catalunya. It was the best and most centric location in my opinion. I loved the hotel.
Violeta was a small hotel that reminded me of my apartment in Buenos Aires. The hotel is in a residential apartment building where they had turned two floors into hotel rooms. The Gothic architecture offered us a giant completely renovated room with a very high ceiling. We had two queen size beds in our room, a sitting area and plenty of open space. The reception was extremely helpful with information, and being small, made check-in a breeze.
Violeta Boutique also included a European coffee and pastry breakfast but if you wanted an American breakfast, there was a small cafe next door on the street level and plenty of other options within a three-block radius.
Our three days in Barcelona coincided with the Fiesta de Gracia (thanksgiving!) which was a 20-minute bus ride from Plaza Catalunya. I had bought a 10-ride Metro-Bus pass (Credit card size) from the Metro (subway, underground) station at Catalunya. Fiesta de Gracia was in the Garcia neighborhood where all the streets were colourfully decorated by the residents and live bands played all night on the streets and restaurants had set outdoor patios. The music was free, the food was reasonably priced, and people were jolly. It was my second favourite part of our time in Barcelona and we went there two evenings.
Barcelona Gothic city
From the airport, we took a bus straight to Plaza Catalunya (Plaça de Catalunya) in 20 minutes and then walked three blocks to our hotel. I had the hotel directions Googled (searched) in advance. I am fluent in Spanish (the Argentine version) so taking public transit was natural for me. Although Barcelona is a destination for international tourism and most people in the industry seem to speak English.
I bought a SIM card for my phone (which was unlocked in advance) at the airport for €30 from Vodafone (https://www.vodafone.com/) that gave me 10 Gig of mobile data covering most of Europe for up to a month. It did not include coverage on the cruise ship.
La Rambla and the old Gothic city in Barcelona were 10 to 15-minute walk from our hotel or Plaza Catalunya. You want to spend half a day walking this area, watching the beautiful shops, the narrow streets of Gothic centre and try a street café or restaurant.
La Sagrada Familia is a must see for its architecture alone. We took a bus there, but you must purchase tickets in advance if you plan to go inside on a specific day and skip the long lineup. This is another half-day venture unless you want to tour the outside which is fascinating enough. I found it amazing to see how much craft and detail was offered to decorate the exterior of the building. It is no wonder that the new extension brings a modern and plain contrast that just does not quite match the elegance and masterful craftsmanship of the old.

Park Guell is another 20-minute bus ride to the higher altitudes of Barcelona. It is a beautiful park with some very interesting structures left behind. It was a good half-day break from the city to relax and enjoy the nature. You can also see the entire city from the top.
Restaurant can be pricey in the touristy Plaça de Catalunya area. I managed to venture a couple of blocks off the main streets and find some local small restaurants. We had a great satisfying meal at a fantastic price and mingled with the residents. I even found a little Italian owned pizza place! Of course, we also tried the more refined tapas restaurants. After all, we were tourists.
Naples, Italy: The longest leg of our cruise was from Barcelona to Naples which took a full day at sea. That was perfect because it provided us the opportunity to navigate the ship and the amenities, learn the evening programs, browse the list of restaurants, and to start our reservations. I did not think that Naples had enough to interest me for the whole day and I hungered to see the Amalfi coast. Amalfi coast was too far for a day trip, so I decided that Sorrento and maybe Positano would be close enough. I rented a car from Hertz in advance which was a five-minute walk from the port. The car cost me about $150 Canadian, tax included! Luckily, I still remembered how to drive standard transmission (stick-shift).
We made it to Sorrento on the scenic highway with no problem. Traffic did slow at some points giving the driver (me) an opportunity to enjoy the scenery. About 10 minutes before arriving, atop the hills on the narrow road that took us to Sorrento, I found a little space to park the car and breath-in the fresh view of Sorrento waterfront. We could see the sail boats floating on the Mediterranean blue water, and the colourful little houses built on the slope of the hill from the top all the way to the sea. The buildings were in so many colours as if the quaint Sorrento were architected by Michelangelo to be lived by DaVinci’s Mona Lisa.
Sorrento from the road top
Sorrento was so beautiful that we spent the entire day there. We parked the car in an underground parking across to Gran Hotel Europa Palace (www.europapalace.com) on the hilltop. We must have spend about 45 minutes roaming the exterior of the hotel, admiring the architecture and the impressive iron gate, and then spending time on the back patio taking a closer look at the colourful buildings on the hill rolling down to the water. There were stone walking paths from the houses to the water where a giant deck with seats and shades turned the sea into a giant public pool.
Sorrento Hotel
The ladies in reception were extremely helpful offering us information and allowing me to charge my mobile since I had forgotten my charger! According to one of them, the German war maps were still on the lobby walks behind the giant paintings at this fortress (now hotel). I wanted to go down to the waterfront for lunch. So, the nice lady called her friend, the owner of a restaurant on the waterfront, and they sent us a car at no charge and after lunch they drove us back. The ride to the water was through narrow winding streets of Sorrento. After lunch we took a walk along the harbour and watched the sail boats rock on calm waters. I would like to spend a week or more in Southern Italy some day.
I forgot to mention that my cousin lives in Naples working on his PhD. He was our translator for the day. This was our first encounter in forty years (that is a sad tale that should not ruin this travel story). On the way back, we sat in a very nice café in Naples and had an amazing coffee and pastry before heading back to our ship. Italian pastry is the best, with my apology to mom and all the Persians.
Sorrento harbour
Rome, Italy: The port for Rome is in Civitavecchia, an hour drive from Rome. A tour purchased from the cruise would have been around $300 CDN per person. I like to think that I am adventurous and enjoy experimenting the local ways as much as I can. However, I understand that you may think that I am just cheap. I am fine with that. My son (Lucas) and I took a five-minute bus ride to the train station and paid €10 each to take the fast train to Rome. I love trains a lot more than buses.
We could have ventured Rome with local transit; however, our time was limited and we could not afford any time asking for directions. If I recall accurately, the daily hop-on-hop-off city tour was about €20 per person. To visit Rome and only spend one day should be a crime but a snapshot to calm my itching curiosity was the deal I had taken. I would say that Rome and Vatican City would require at least a week. There are many ancient Basilicas other than St. Peter’s each offering a unique history and that alone is well worth a week for me.
The bus passed by the Colosseum, check mark. We were heading to the Vatican City knowing well that we may not make it inside. After all, Vatical city is a day by itself. The bus dropped us a few blocks away in front of San Angelo Castle also known as Mausoleum of Hadrian https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Castel_Sant%27Angelo. The castle was a tall cylinder-like giant stone building walled all around like a fortress. I thought we would take a quick tour of the place at €15 (it was free for minors “Lucas”). We ended up spending over two hours admiring the decorated walls and ceilings with painting that were full of stories, and the museum items there were placed in its numerous rooms. We climbed many rocky stairs all the way to the top of this tallest structure in Rome, ventured the narrow hallways and took some pictures on the roof.
San Angelo Castle
The entrance to Vatican City was a ten-minute walk. Before crossing the bridge over Tiber (Tevere) we sat on the patio of a river-side food booth to have a snack. We walked to Vatican City and spent an hour in St. Peter’s Square (Piazza San Pietro) observing the architecture, the elegantly attired Guards, the crowd lining up and the shops that lure the tourist.
We took the tour bus back to Piazza di Espagna. This was the cleanest, most modern, and prettiest part of the city that our eyes had seen in the past few hours. The bus left us on the upper escalation of the Piazza where I took some pictures before descending the steep long set of steps into the centre of the shops and restaurants. We walked for about an hour window shopping and then found a restaurant patio in a pedestrian intersection. It was a touristy area but still reasonably priced. We certainly could give ourselves this one treat before heading back to the train station for our hour and twenty-minute ride back.
Piazza di Espagna
Total cost of our Rome venture including transportation, admissions, and food (for two) was €150. Lunch was the biggest expense.

Florence and Pisa, Italy: Another restaurant and show evening aboard the Norwegian Epic, and we arrived in Florence (port of Livorno) early morning. Getting to Florence by public transit was too complicated. A car ride from port of Livorno to Florence was about 90 minutes and to Pisa around 30 minutes. I was lucky to find a private mini-van taxi (a brand new eight-seater Mercedes) that needed two more passengers to get going. At €50 per person to take us to Florence and then Pisa and back, it was a great deal. This deal could have been booked online in advance for €40. A lesson learned here. The other people sharing our ride were a family of four from Montreal, and a mother-son pair from Los Angles.
Everyone was very reserved and quiet. Lucas and I sat in the front with the driver and I spend the entire trip learning from our friendly driver. Florence is beautiful and quaint. However, I thought I had enough architecture in Rome and did not feel like lining up for an hour to see another church. We took a walking tour of Florence and had a meal at small sandwich joint run by two very funny and entertaining ladies. They offered a great selection of artisanal sandwiches, but almost two years later now, I cannot remember what I ate.
Pisa was another little town walled all around. I can imagine the great length the leaders had to go to protect people from attacks and we so often take our freedom for granted. Of course, we must protect ourselves from partisan politics and corporate lawyers, but that is easily manageable. At this point of the trip, I had enough sight seeing. I would have been good with a video of Pisa on YouTube. Here is a picture of the magnificent but defected marble structure.

Canes and Nice, France:
Canes, France was physically the most beautiful city on this trip, in my opinion. It was manicured clean and peaceful. Canes did not have a port for the cruise ships, hence we had to anchor in the sea and take the emergency boats to the shore. The emergency boats were giant, and each held about 200 people. We had a short time here and we were tired. I should have taken a tour bus, but my sense of adventure (or cheapness) had us walking up the steep and narrow winding street and then back down to the city centre for a bite.
I found a small sandwich shop to share a ham and cheese baguette and a couple of drinks with Lucas. In my broken French, I asked the young lady behind the counter if she could cut the baguette in half for us and she gave me a stern “Non”. I am not certain whether that was a lack of courtesy or I had crossed some religious or cultural boundaries. It was simple enough to split the baguette with me hand. We should have continued our tour of the city and stayed in Canes as I had advised our friends from Quebec. However, a sudden urge came over me to take the train to Nice. We did, and Nice’s downtown and beach area were beautiful to walk; however, the injustice I did to my own principals of travelling is unforgivable. The whole day was just too rushed and consuming.
Canes, City Market
Mallorca (Majorca) Spain:
The trip from Canes to Mallorca was the second longest leg of the cruise. We arrived Mallorca around 1 pm giving us roughly five hours on the Island. After seven days of walking the cities in the heat of August, even the young Lucas was exhausted. The port in Mallorca was not walking distance to any interesting place and Lucas wished to spend the day at a beach. Great idea, I thought.
I Googled the most scenic beaches nearby and Palma Nova was the second choice but the only feasible option due to our limited time. We had a brief line up for a taxi right at the port. There was a family of five from Peru from our cruise in front of us in the lineup and they could not all fit into one taxi. I invited the grandpa of the family to come with us since they were heading to the same beach. Grandpa was a good companion and an opportunity for me to learn about Peru. We agreed on a time for going back together and then split to our ventures.
Palma Nova was perfect to spend a day. The beach had the right amount of crowd and was decorated by some rocky hills on one side for us to take a walk in between swims. The water was perfectly tempered, calm, and clear blue. There were no high rises nor big tourist hotels on this beach and plenty of restaurants and shops. For lunch we crossed the street on the beach to a patio and I shared a nice pizza and drinks for €12. We paid €15 for the bamboo umbrella and two chairs to have our spot on the beach and about €35 total for the taxi ride back and forth. That brings our total to €62 for a beautiful relaxing day in Majorca.
Palma Nova beach, Mallorca
I would like to spend a week in Mallorca. There are many scenic quaint towns and beautiful beaches to enjoy. If you are interested to know more, you can search for Palma, Sóller, Valldemossa, and Pollença. All these are on the west side of the island and within an hour drive from Palma. I would stay in Palma and make day trips to each of these towns. If you are a tennis fan, then you will probably add Rafael Nadal’s academy (https://www.rafanadalacademy.com/en) to the list, which is about an hour drive east of Palma.
Palma Nova beach, Majorca
Our last night on the cruise was concluded by a beautiful three course meal and listening to a live band on the middle deck’s lobby. There was a talented singer among the passengers and a few great dancers on board who joined the performance. It was a great way to end the cruise. We arrived Barcelona early morning, well rested, with a fresh shower and a full tummy. We found a taxi and headed straight to the airport to catch our noon flight back to Toronto without rush. I suppose my project management trainings mixed with my entrepreneurial nature, made a perfect schedule for the trip. You can check out www.pmi.org if you are interested in formalizing your skills for time and budget management.

2020.06.22 18:35 the_mallu_mogul This post is specifically for my indian/desi dudes out there but east Asians feel free to read. ( Read the entire thing)

To my desi guys out there that r struggling, this write up is dedicated for y'all. For context purposes I'm a 5'10 dark skinned Indian dude and my gf is Lebanese ( her parents are racist).
  1. Women do not choose who they are attracted to when they have casual sex, the important word being casual. Your race matters more when it's time for a serious relationship because women are extremely conscious of what her friends /parents might think. However, when they want to get dicked down they'll choose the guy that'll give them the most pleasure since it's on the down low. This is why black dudes succeed with hookups but struggle getting into long term relationships. I see this shit all the time especially with Persian/Armenian women, they deal with black guys casually but rarely ever make these relationships public. To my Indian dudes, hit the gym and get jacked ( not shredded I'm talking abt ripped/jacked AF). Remember 70% of working out is ur diet and only 30% is the actual working out part. Don't be hitting the gym but then going back to ur high carb Indian diet, you won't succeed that way. The reason why most brown guys might scream " COPE" at this point is because they've genuinely never seen a brown guy like this before. Ppl claim that they have a brown friend who works out and still has trouble. I'm highly skeptical because when I ask for pics they send me a guy whos not visibly jacked/ripped but rather someone who's fit. Be honest when was the last time u saw a genuinely jacked/ripped Indian dude? And I'm not talking abt " he's in shape". For casual sex what matters most is ur muscles and ur height ( I'll get to that). Women don't judge men like we judge them. Men put a huge premium on the complexion of the women and face whereas for casual sex women emphasize height and muscles. The reason, is because she wants to be " taken" dominated in bed when she wants to just have a good time. Women also assume that guys that have huge muscles also have big dicks.
  2. How to pick em up: there's many ways to do this which I have used so let me share some strategies. One way is to simply approach/ chat up with 3-5 women every single day. Stop trying to "pick up" women but rather chat them up and see where it goes. The reason why most dudes fail and leave the game, is because they're really outcome dependant instead of having the " I'm just chatting u up and we'll see were it goes" stop being so focused on the outcome and just have fun. Over the course of a year you would've talked to 1000+ women, your just bound to get several lays when ur doing that level of volume. Getting sex is just like sales, except instead of selling a product you're selling your dick. There's two ways to get more sales, improve the product ( you) so it's an easier sell or do more volume of sales calls to sell a mediocre product ( your close rates will be lower). You must get jacked and have really good fashion to improve your close rates. Remember shitty products sell if the salesmen are good ( your games on point) but it's even easier when the product itself is good and the customer already wants to buy. Truth is, if you do game the effective way ( which means with intent of meeting 3-5 women every single day) it's gonna feel like a job, and honestly it is. There's a reason why companies have " sales processes" it's the same thing here u need to have a " game process". My game process involved hitting up nice lounges. The reason being, that "Indian creep" subconscious thought many women have is completely eradicated simply because of the high status venue. Thts just one example of the tactics I've used. For online dating, take pics with all ur white buddies. Why? Because women of all races associate being friends with white guys as having high status. I see this shit all the time Indian dudes only sticking with their own Indian social circle and wondering why they can't get women of other races smh. Trust me take pics with ur white buds, and once u get jacked elevate ur social circle with those white frat boy types. Easiest way to get laid especially in a night game setting is to have a white frat boy type to be ur wingman since it gives u insane levels of social proof especially with minority women. Now for the height part, wear elevator shoes/height insoles in ur shoes. Lot of y'all will say " wouldn't that be height frauding?". Here's the thing with women they care abt height until they get fucked, because remember what I said a man who's perceived as shorter with a smaller frame/no muscles is also perceived as having a small dick. However, if you can dick them down good before they find out ur real height ur good to go. Why? Because even though ur actually short she knows u can pleasure her and ur a reliable source of dick, they discriminate based on height because u may not be a " potential source" of good dick/pleasurable sex experience ( btw this is purely casual sex, because I understand the argument that they want their future offspring to also be tall etc). Listen I'm tired of typing but hopefully I've added value for y'all. Feel free to comment with any questions you may have.
